The Biggest Art Celebration is Back
Singapore’s largest celebration of art, illustration, and independent creator culture, Doujin Market, is back and it’s even bigger and better than ever! With over 400 talented creators from 11 different countries around the world, visitors can reconnect with their favorite creators and experience the biggest Doujin Market yet. Doujima’s 8th edition lauds the tenacity and perseverance of the global creator community, and continues to uplift artists, cosplayers, designers, and illustrators by empowering them with even more opportunities to be inspired.
And They’re Embracing the Digital Age
Visitors can interact with and be inspired by VTubers and V-Creators, including Avernative Production’s V:D0 and Lucius Merryweather of Merryweather Media fame. Additionally, visitors can play ConQuest, the Doujin Market scavenger hunt, and the first 50 visitors to complete the challenge each day will receive goodie bags sponsored by Pentel and other partners.
Partnering with Doujin Market in this endeavor are Avernative Production and their featured brands, including Avermedia, Xencelabs, and XP-Pen. They will be presenting VD:0, Singapore’s first homegrown virtual creator team, and panels to help aspiring virtual creators take their first step. Also co-presenting Doujin Market this year is Merryweather Media, who will be exhibiting in Singapore for the first time. Best known for their web-based media, including webcomics and Vtuber content, visitors can look forward to meeting Lucius Merryweather, the Vtuber persona of the studio’s founder, as well as other key members of his production team. Visitors can also pick up convention-exclusive merchandise and print compilations of popular Merryweather Media comics at their booth.
Powered by Gank
Doujin Market has also partnered with Gank to provide a robust e-payment solution to all exhibitors at the show. Through Gank, creators from selected regional countries will be able to have their earnings transferred directly to their bank accounts, as well as accept multiple payment options such as PayNow without needing a Singapore bank account. Gank will also be running a currency top-up campaign during the show to encourage visitors to support creators more.
