Post Management Page for Creators

Purpose: What is Post Management?

This feature aims to develop a centralised Post Management Page within our platform specifically designed for creators. This page will allow creators to efficiently manage all their content in one place, streamlining their workflow and content organisation.

Opportunity: Why Post Management

Many creators juggle content across various platforms and formats.  A dedicated Post Management Page will address the need for:

  • Improved Organisation: Creators can easily view, filter, and search all their posts at a glance
  • Streamlined Workflows: With features like filtering by post type (public, subscribers-only, pay-per-view), creators can efficiently manage their content strategy and audience engagement. The ability to edit, delete, and label posts also provides creators with greater control over their content.

How it works

  1. Go to Manage Posts
  2. Users are able to see all existing posts since they started posting
    • Post title
    • Post date
    • Post access type (public / subscribers only / ppv)
    • Post image (if any)
    • Post category (if any)
  3. Users are able to perform the following features:
    • Search their posts with any keywords. It will run through the post title and post description and return the matching posts
    • Filter posts by access type
    • Edit post. It will direct users to post editing page to make changes to their post content (title / description / media etc)
    • Edit post category individually
    • Bulk add or remove post category. Users can multi-select multiple posts and edit post categories in bulk.
    • Delete post individually

Locked Post Filter (All Posts vs. Locked Posts)

Purpose: What is Locked Post Filter?

This filter automatically categorises posts based on access type: all posts vs. locked posts. All posts include all of the posts that the creators have, while locked posts include subscriber-only and pay-per-view content, accessible only after supporters unlock them through subscriptions or one-time payments.

Opportunity: Why Locked Post Filter?

  • Improved Supporter Content Discovery: Supporters can easily toggle between all and locked posts, allowing them to quickly find content that aligns with their access level (free vs. paid).
  • Enhanced Feed Organization: This filter helps supporters navigate creator feeds more efficiently, minimising the need to scroll through irrelevant content.
  • Potential Increase in Paid Content Consumption: Making locked content readily identifiable may encourage supporters to explore and potentially subscribe to access exclusive content.

How it works

Creator

  1. Nothing much to be done on creators’ end. While creating posts, they can choose the post access type: public, subscribers-only, or ppv
  2. If they select either subscribers only, or ppv, then these posts will automatically appear in the Locked Posts toggle
  3. Otherwise, they will all appear under All Posts toggle

Supporter

  1. Supporters go to creator profile and navigate to the Feed tab
  2. Supporters can see the toggle: All Posts & Locked Posts
  3. They will be on All Posts toggle by default when they land on the feed tab
  4. Toggling to Locked Posts toggle will only display the subscribers-only posts and ppv posts
Share.
